Job Description

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Springfield, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : CT Technologist

  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift : 10 hours, days
  • Employment Type : Travel
  • Required Work Setting Experience : Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, Emergency Department, Level I Trauma.
  • Required Procedures / Knowledge :

Abdomen / Pelvis : Without / with contrast.

  • Chest : Without / with contrast, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta).
  • Head / Neck : Carotid, Head without / with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma head.
  • Image Display / Post Processing : 3D rendering (MIP, SSD, VR), Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), ROI measurement.
  • Professional : Isolation Precautions, Contrast media prep / admin, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs , Venipuncture .
  • Special Procedures : Coronary CTA .
  • Spine / MSK : Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, Thoracic.

    • Required Certifications & Licensure

  • Required Certs : ARRT , ARRT-CT , BLS (AHA and Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted)
  • State License : Active IL state license required in hand at submission .
  • Weekend Requirement : Every 3rd weekend
  • On-Call Requirement : Yes - 1 night of call per week and holidays as needed.
  • Years of Experience REQ : Minimum 2 years experience required (though compliance mentions 18 months, defer to job description for exceptions).
  • First-timers Accepted : Yes
  • Floating : No (According to the description) / 100% required (According to Travel Compliance - Note the conflict, clarification may be needed! )
  • Guaranteed Hours : Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment .
  • Charting System : Cerner
