- Food & beverage business acumen : department sales trends, freshness and quality, inventory management, guest shopping patterns and pricing and promotions strategies
- Daily and weekly workload planning to prioritize food & beverage priorities and meet sales goals and deliver on department and store targets
- Talent management, including skills in interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating and retaining team members
As a Food & Beverage Team Leader, youll have the opportunity to :
Understand sales goals and plan and execute daily / weekly workload to support food & beverage priorities while delivering on department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including merchandising, pricing, changes to salesfloor merchandise displays, sampling, and promotionsAssess backroom and sales floor areas of Food & Beverage and potentially associated areas on a daily basis and review reporting to identify business trendsEstablish clear goals and expectations, holding team members accountable to expectationsMaintain a fresh, full and food safe area during all operating hours including strong inventory management, area routines and food safety policies and proceduresDeliver the food & beverage standardsValidate and follow up on team members' progress against assigned prioritized workload tasks, production area routines, and adherence to Best PracticesWork a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs including early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekendsThis role would be perfect for someone who :

High school diploma or equivalentAge 18 or olderPrevious retail and / or food experience preferred, but not requiredStrong interest and knowledge of the food & beverage businessAbility to : lead and hold others accountableCommunicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directedWork independently and as part of a team while focusing and being composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframesWelcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team membersEffective communication skillsWe expect candidates to :
Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issuesInterpret instructions, reports and informationAccurately manage cash register operations as neededClimb up and down ladders as neededEfficiently handle and move merchandise, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 poundsMaintain flexibility in work schedule (e.g. nights, weekends and holidays); reliability punctuality and regular attendance necessaryWork in varied temperatures and environments (e.g. fridges, outdoor Drive-Up, carryout), capable of remaining mobile for duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
