The Cad Designer will specialize in creating visual representations of High Powered Audio systems for use in proposals, marketing materials, and engineering reports. A strong candidate has demonstrated the ability to communicate complex concepts, instructions, data and acoustical information through visual elements in such a way that makes it accessible and understandable to various audiences.

A Day in the Life :

• Utilize mapping software to overlay various types of speakers and determine an estimated coverage area based on evidence gathered from the customer, empirical data, and known speaker performance.
• Create acoustical projections for both outdoor and indoor speaker systems to be used as sales and technical tools.
• Illustrate technical concepts : Visualize complex technical concepts, processes, or systems using diagrams, charts, and illustrations.
• Generate 2D models : Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create indoor and outdoor designs of alerting systems, enhancing the understanding of the customer's solution.
• Visualize data : Transform raw data into visually appealing charts, graphs, or infographics that are easy to comprehend and interpret.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers : Candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, and subject matter experts to understand technical requirements and translate them into visual representations.
• Participate in design reviews with customers to solidify design to assist in providing final quotation and proposal.

59,000 - $80,000 a year

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of Alertus' salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will depend on several factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, education / training and other qualifications.
