JOB SUMMARY :
The Executive Director of Ministries will play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior pastor in carrying out the church’s vision. This process-oriented leader will develop and manage key operational and strategic initiatives, ensuring the church functions smoothly and effectively while fostering environments for spiritual growth, connection and missional engagement. This is a full-time position, and the Executive Director of Ministries will report to the Senior Pastor.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Pastor to implement the church’s vision by developing strategic initiatives.
- Oversee leadership development and ministry execution to achieve the church’s goals, such as : Identify and nurture emerging leaders within the church community and provide training and mentorship to develop those leaders.Support and provide oversight and strategic development for TabGroups, TabKids, TabYouth and WeeOnes.Oversee Tab MidWeek by developing a team for meals and growth opportunities (ABS, Prayer, and other groups for connection and spiritual growth).
- Lead staff development initiatives to enhance skills and alignment with the church’s mission.
- Oversee the LifeGroup ministry by developing a LifeGroup model that encompasses connection, growth, and missional engagement.
- Lead and develop the assimilation pipeline from first time guest to all-out Tab member.
- Improve internal and external communication channels, ensuring timely and effective information flow.
- Collaborate with the Senior Pastor to develop strategies for generosity within the congregation by supporting stewardship campaigns and financial initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of church activities with the overall vision and mission.
- Attend staff engagements and one-on-one meetings.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google, email and databases.Carrier of Core Values. Protects the unity and identity of Tab Church.EXPERIENCE DESIRED
Minimum 5 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.EDUCATION DESIRED
Minimum of high school diploma; college degree preferred.
