LHH is partnering with a machine maintenance servicing company in Houston, TX to find a highly organized and proactive Payroll Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced team environment! This company offers a flexibility and opportunity for career development!

Candidates should have one or more years of in-house payroll experience, with strong attention to detail and familiarity with multi-state payroll and compliance.

Annual salary for the Payroll Specialist ranges between $65,000 and $70,000 depending on experience.

Job Duties :

Process weekly & bi-weekly payroll

Answering payroll related questions via phone and email

Input various types of pay including holiday, vacation, jury duty, etc.

Processing garnishments and deductions

Prepare certified payroll reports

Process new hire and termination paperwork

Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll reconciliations

Job Requirements :

One or more years’ recent payroll experience

Experience in a construction or field-service company preferred

Understanding of certified payroll and union reporting requirements

Basic MS Excel skills required

Pay Details : $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
