Job Summary :
Under supervision, prepares federal and state income tax returns, estimated taxes, income tax accruals, and federal and state tax true-up computations for a large consolidated multinational group of entities. Responds to state and IRS notices, information document requests, and completes special projects as requested.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns and quarterly estimates.Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax accruals and return-to-accrual true-up computations.Respond to notices and audit inquiries from the IRS and state taxing authorities.Maintain tax depreciation recordsPrepare and record income tax related journal entriesResearch and document issues related to various technical tax and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) topics.Requirements :
Minimum 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Accounting, a related field or the equivalent education and / or experienceMinimum 2-3 years of federal compliance experienceUnderstanding of GAAP tax accounting conceptsCPA preferred but not required
