Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas
IT Vendor Relationship and Performance Management
Relationship Development : Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key IT vendors and service providers.Performance Oversight : Facilitate regular vendor performance and business reviews. Monitor compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), initiating corrective actions for underperformance.Escalation Point : Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor-related issues and disputes.Contract Oversight, Financial & Risk Management
Agreement Management : Oversee the negotiation, execution, and renewal of IT Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring alignment with legal, financial, and operational standards.Financial Stewardship : Track vendor spend, benchmark pricing and service levels against industry standards, and ensure alignment with IT budgets and forecasts.Risk & Compliance : Identify and manage vendor-related risks, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and operational continuity. Support internal audits and compliance initiatives.Procurement Knowledge : Apply strong knowledge of IT procurement standards and align the strategic vendor portfolio with the agency's IT roadmap.Issue Management and Communication
Change Control : Log and track vendor-related issues, escalations, and change requests. Document change control approvals for IT services or infrastructure.Stakeholder Liaison : Schedule and document vendor meetings, demos, and onboarding sessions. Communicate vendor updates, risks, and contract changes clearly to all stakeholders.
