Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with manufacturing planning and scheduling teams to develop optimize and refine production processes. This role requires strong expertise in machining tooling plating materials and workflow optimization. As a key contributor to operational excellence the Manufacturing Engineer ensures that processes are efficient cost-effective well-documented and aligned with quality standards.

What You Will Be Doing
Design new and improve existing manufacturing processes tooling automation and work instructions using Lean and Six Sigma principles.Review engineering documents and create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Methods of Manufacturing in the ERP system.Schedule and expedite jobs released by planning to maintain production flow.Ensure optimized CNC programs in collaboration with the Programming team.Coordinate tooling and material readiness with Programming Planning and Purchasing.Disposition nonconformances and collaborate with Quality and Purchasing on supplier and processing requirements.Plan and establish routing for projects and jobs throughout the facility defining operations and sequencing.Apply statistical methods and calculations to determine manufacturing processes staffing needs and production standards.Lead projects that reduce lead times cut internal costs and improve process control and yield.Identify and resolve production bottlenecks while communicating with key stakeholders.Prepare and maintain documentationincluding SPC sheets in-process prints and work instructionswithin the ERP system.Perform other duties as assigned.What You Bring to the Table
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related fieldOR 7 years of relevant experience.5 years of experience in manufacturing and assembly.Demonstrated knowledge of CNC machining part programming and fixturing.Experience with MRP / ERP systems (Epicor strongly preferred).Strong understanding of quality control methods and inspection practices.Experience with CAD programs such as SolidWorks.Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively to resolve production issues.Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma Kaizen or similar improvement methodologies.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.What We Offer
