Director Of Enterprise Technology Services

As the Director of Enterprise Technology Services, your day will be filled with opportunities to manage the bank's enterprise technology infrastructure and team to ensure security, high availability, performance, and scalability across on-prem and cloud environments. This role also oversees patching and vulnerability remediation, change management processes, and ensures alignment with regulatory compliance and resilience standards.

Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day activities of the bank's technology infrastructure initiatives to include LAN / WAN, Datacenter and Cloud Strategies, Hyperconverged Compute & Storage, Onprem & Cloud Backup Strategies, Phone System, Patching & Vulnerability Management, Security, Audit and Compliance, Disaster Recovery and BCP. Collaborate with the Information Technology leadership team and the bank's executive management team to implement technology solutions that align with the strategic initiatives of the bank. Develop and maintain policies, procedures and controls to ensure appropriate security, data accuracy, legal and regulatory compliance. Engage and collaborate with technology vendors to develop strong professional relationships in support of the bank's technology initiatives. Ensure vendor proposals meet the technical requirements of the bank and negotiate competitive pricing. Participate in recurring executive management meetings such as the IT Steering Committee Meetings and Board Meetings. Manage assigned IT staff to ensure the highest level of performance and compliance with bank policies and procedures. Mentor assigned IT staff to provide guidance on technical and career development, helping them navigate the company culture and build confidence. Participate in the annual budget planning process to ensure required technology investments are accurately represented in the bank's IT budget. Plan, execute and document the results of the annual disaster recovery exercises. Collaborate with the bank's legal counsel and vendor management team to review legal documents, service agreements, SOW's, and regulatory compliance documents to ensure the bank's interests are protected. Participate in technology architecture evaluations and designs as well as implementation initiatives associated within the area of responsibility. Develop and maintain long-term technology roadmaps. Remain up to date on latest technology trends and strategies via training, conferences, vendor meetings, etc. Work with internal and external Auditors and Regulators as needed.

Job Requirements include a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role, excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, self-motivated with strong organizational skills, desire to deliver a quality customer experience, experience managing and leading IT employees, experience collaborating with executive management, experience with architecting infrastructure technology solutions, strong blend of strategic planning and technical expertise to manage enterprise-wide services, prior banking experience preferred, experience with the Microsoft suite of productivity tools (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc), and the ability to supervise the Infrastructure Team.
