Church at the Cross (CATC) is a dynamic, multicultural church in Central Florida committed to doing whatever it takes to make much of Jesus. Our largest ministry, Central Florida Christian Academy (CFCA), serves nearly 500 students daily. We constantly evaluate and innovate to creatively and effectively reach people with the Gospel.

We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Business Systems / HR Administrator to streamline operations, strengthen HR and payroll processes, and manage key business applications that empower our teams to fulfill our mission. This role combines human resources, payroll, benefits, accounting support, and business systems administration in a fast-paced ministry environment.

I. QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Heart for service to the Lord and alignment with CATC’s mission.
  • High school diploma; 2+ years in HR, payroll, or benefits administration.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, and / or ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • High confidentiality, adaptability, and “whatever it takes” attitude.

II. RESPONSIBILITIES :

This position works under the direction and / or approval of the Executive Administrator.

  • HR General : Maintain employee records, oversee onboarding / offboarding, manage recruitment, develop HR training, ensure compliance, and serve as point of contact for sensitive reports and investigations.
  • Payroll : Process, verify, and audit payroll; prepare GL entries; ensure compliance.
  • Benefits Administration : Manage benefit enrollments / changes, audit deductions, and coordinate wellness programs.
  • Business Systems : Serve as primary admin for HRIS, payroll, and related applications; create reports; maintain system documentation; support accounting processes.
  • Executive Support : Provide administrative assistance to Executive Administrator and Executive Team.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
