Job Description : Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and curious Junior Chemist to join our lubricants laboratory, where innovation and research are at the core of our work. In this role, you will support the development and evaluation of new lubricant formulations, contribute to R&D initiatives, and generate data that drives product innovation. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments and testing of lubricants to support new product development and innovation projects.
- Evaluate physical and performance characteristics such as viscosity, flash point, pour point, density, and oxidation stability.
- Prepare, blend, and analyze samples as part of formulation research and product performance studies.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including viscometers, Four Ball , and Pin & Vee Block, and other testing equipment.
- Record, analyze, and interpret experimental data, providing insights that guide R&D decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior chemists and cross-functional teams to develop new formulations and improve existing products.
- Contribute to technical reports, presentations, and documentation of research findings.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and industry testing standards (ASTM, DIN,).
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.0 2 years of laboratory or internship experience.Strong foundation in laboratory practices, testing methods, and analytical techniques.Demonstrated curiosity, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Preferred Skills
Familiarity with lubricant testing methods (ASTM D445, D92, D97, D4172. etc).Exposure to research-focused testing such as formulation screening, stability testing, or additive evaluations.Understanding of base oils, additives, and fundamental lubricant chemistry.Interest in innovation, product development, and applied chemistry research.What We Offer
