    • Schedule Details / Additional Information :

  • Self-Scheduled
  • Shift : 3rd Shift (7pm-7 : 30am)
  • FTE : 0.9 (12-hour shifts)
  • Schedule Includes : 2 Mondays, 2 Fridays, 1 weekend every 6 weeks, and 2 holidays (1 summer & 1 winter).

You'll rotate between ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, gaining exposure to multiple specialties and enhancing your clinical skills.

    What You'll Do :

  • Float between Med / Surg, Telemetry, ED Boarding, and ICU support units.
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic environment.
  • Adapt quickly to diverse unit workflows while maintaining clinical excellence.

    • What We're Looking For :

  • Experience : Minimum 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred).
  • Flexibility : Willingness to work a rotating schedule that includes 2 Fridays, 2 Mondays, and 1 weekend every 6 weeks.

    • Training & Skills :

  • Training includes :
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (Stroke Scale)
  • IV Ultrasound
  • Charge Nurse cross-training to enhance leadership skills.

This role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and skilled communication to ensure safety and enhance the patient experience.

  • Implement individualized care plans, assessing patient needs and adapting as conditions change.
  • Coordinate discharge plans with an interdisciplinary approach and promote patient and family readiness to learn.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and support safe patient environments.

    • Licenses & Certifications : Must hold a Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

    Education : Completion of an accredited Nursing program.

    Required Experience : Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

    Skills : Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to develop rapport with patients and team members.
