Description

We are looking for a talented Social Media Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will create and execute compelling organic social media strategies, helping to amplify our mission and engage diverse audiences. This is a contract position based in Norwalk, Connecticut, with the potential for transition to a long-term role after six months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement organic social media strategies to maximize audience engagement and brand visibility.
• Create innovative, platform-specific content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and X (formerly Twitter).
• Monitor social media channels to engage with followers in real-time, manage communities, and address reputation risks.
• Analyze campaign performance data to inform strategy and provide actionable insights through detailed reporting.
• Collaborate with communications, PR, and creative teams to ensure content aligns with the organization's voice and goals.
• Lead influencer marketing initiatives and event?based social media campaigns to amplify reach.
• Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate them into dynamic content strategies.
• Manage content calendars and oversee the use of tools like Meta Business Suite, Canva, and Sprout Social.
• Provide mentorship to team members and foster cross?functional collaboration with paid media managers.
