Duties

The nature of the work is focused on supporting portfolio operations including financial management, portfolio metrics management, and managing portfolio tools and processes to support overall organizational excellence. The role will ensure the agile teams, leadership and program partners have a clear and consistent understanding of portfolio, train and team health and progress. It will require working independently as well as partnering with Portfolio Directors / Solution Train Engineers, Finance Managers and Resources Managers. This role will require you to be a self-starter with strong communication and influencing skills. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership in the following areas :

Facilitate the capacity planning across the organization through consistent and efficient processes

Govern data maintained in Agile Lifecycle Management (JIRA, VersionOne) tools

Support data driven decision making by developing train, and portfolio metrics that enable leaders to draw meaningful insight and make decisions

Develop and maintain a strategy for driving consistency and reusability of portfolio reports that need to be maintained outside of the ALM tools

Foster a culture of openness to enterprise thinking, efficiency, change and innovation

Support efforts to drive consistent frameworks, tools & knowledge management across Global Technology; champion community building and practice sharing

Sustain change and process improvement

Counsel and advise leadership team on relevant technology strategies, policies and external best practices; champion new, creative ideas through well-structured, well-supported and clearly articulated points of view balancing risk, reward and trade-offs

Skills

Undergraduate in business, math, computer science, or related field

5+ years of experience in Project / Product Management

MBA a plus

Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel skills; advanced data skills (use of varied data sets, ability to quickly understand the data and produce relevant analysis, visualization and level-appropriate messaging.)

Demonstrated ability to deliver quick-turn strategic analysis for executive leadership

Experience with the Agile principles and methodologies and how they're applied in workplace culture.

Experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, VersionOne, JIRA preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience creating Portfolio Dashboards utilizing tools like PowerBI, Apptio, Tableau, or Smartsheets preferred
