What We're Looking For :
We are seeking a driven, high-energy Senior Accountant who thrives in the fast-paced world of manufacturing. This is a hands-on role for someone with a true passion for winning, exceptional technical depth, and a team-first mindset. You'll own key pieces of the monthly close, deliver actionable insights to leadership, and continuously improve our processes in a collaborative, high-accountability environment. Responsibilities :
Financial Reporting : Preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Team Management : Support the Controller in overseeing the accounting and finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.Process Improvement : Lead initiatives to enhance accounting processes through automation and technology, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual budget and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.Internal Controls : Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.Reconciliations : Oversee the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.Audit Support : Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.Policy Development : Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.Ad Hoc Analysis : Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for special projects as required by the Controller.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.CPA certification is preferred.Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, Dynamics GP experience a plus; experience with automation tools, and AI utilization.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.High level of integrity and professionalismBenefits :
