Job Summary and Responsibilities

Qualified external applicants with at least six months of Cardiovascular Lab Specialist experience are eligible for a $7500 sign-on bonus!

Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including but not limited to diagnostic and interventional catheterization pacemaker / defibrillator implantation intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP) and electrophysiology studies.

$4.75 Cath Lab Differential Applies upon hire.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following :

• Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology preferred
• Cardiac diagnostic / interventional procedural experience preferred
• High School Diploma / GED required
• A graduate of a diploma associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science or graduate of a programmatically accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required
• Must obtain within 18 months : Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI; OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES); OR ARRT with post primary certification of Cardiac-Interventional Radiography through ARRT required
• Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technologist Certification upon hire unless performing SA duties within the scope of another active Colorado license certification or registration. required
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire or within 6 Months of Hire

Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and / or up to 20lbs frequently and / or up to 10lbs constantly)
