Certified Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist to support accurate and compliant medical coding processes. Key Responsibilities Accurately assign CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for behavioral health services using documentation in the NextGen system Conduct coding quality reviews and assist in audit preparation and follow-up using Healthicity software Collaborate with clinical and billing teams to resolve coding discrepancies and ensure timely claim submission Required Qualifications Required Certification : CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CPC-H (Certified Outpatient Coder) Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation requirements, and compliance guidelines Proficiency in NextGen EHR / PM Experience using Healthicity or other auditing platforms preferred Preferred Certification : CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor) or willingness to pursue within 12 months
