Cybersecurity Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficientCybersecurity Team Leaderto lead strategic cybersecurity initiatives across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise inInfrastructure & Network Securitycloud security andapplication security along with a broad background inIT operations andapplication development.

This role requires a visionary leader who can drive cross-functional collaboration manage complex security projects and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity team.

What You Will Do :

Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from planning through execution and delivery.

Develop and implement security strategies for networks cloud environments and applications.

Oversee incident response efforts and ensure timely resolution of security breaches.

Collaborate with IT operations infrastructure and development teams to integrate security best practices.

Design and enforce network segmentation policies to enhance security posture.

Utilize tools like ServiceNow and Azure DevOps for workflow automation ticketing and project tracking.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cybersecurity team members.

Stay current with emerging threats vulnerabilities and technologies.

What You Have :

10 yearsof experience in cybersecurity and IT domains.

Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams

Technical background in :

Application Security

Cloud Security(Azure AWS etc.)

Infrastructure & Network Security

Experience using ServiceNowandAzure DevOps or similar ticketing tools.

Excellent communication leadership and analytical skills.

Preferred Industry Certifications :

CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional

CCSP Certified Cloud Security Professional

Azure Security Engineer Associate

PMP Project Management Professional (or equivalent)

Any GIAC Cybersecurity Certifications such as GSEC GCLD GCCC GISF GISP etc.

Planning : Tactical Strategic :

Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term) tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

Communicating Complex Concepts :

Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple plain language appropriate to the audience.

Consulting :

Knowledge of techniques roles and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.

Cybersecurity Standards and Policies :

Knowledge of developing cybersecurity policies standards and procedures; ability to develop and communicate policies standards and procedures that guide interactions with customers.

Cybersecurity Risk Management :

Knowledge of tools techniques approaches and processes of cybersecurity risk management; ability to ensure organizational network operation and minimize negative effect by cybersecurity risks.

Information Security Technologies :

Knowledge of technologies and technology-based solutions dealing with information security issues; ability to protect information security across the organization using encryption technologies and appropriate security software.

Additional Info :

The primary location for this position is Peoria IL Irving TX or Nashville TN.

THIS ROLE IS 5 DAYS ONSITE.
