An automation equipment manufacturing company in the Carol Stream area is seeking a new Machine Design Engineer. Responsibilities include mechanical design, basic project management, and cilent facing responsibilities. This is a full time, direct hire position.

Desired qualifications include :

• Bachelor's in engineering
• 2-5 years of experience in machine design for an original equipment manufacturer
• Experiencing designing motor, gearbox, bearing and shafts to the correct specification of power and torque
• Working experience in Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD design software
• Experience creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) for machine design projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with manufacturing needs.
