We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Structural Estimator to join our Estimating Department - we are specifically looking for candidates with prior experience in structural steel estimating who can contribute immediately and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Location : El Mirage, AZ!

Schedule : 8 am - 5 pm / Monday - Friday

Pay rate : $24 ( can go up based on experience )

Duties :

Perform precise and efficient structural steel material take-offs for ongoing bid opportunities.

Prepare high-quality bid proposals and cost estimates under tight and demanding deadlines.

Support the Preconstruction and Change Order process with accurate scope pricing and documentation.

Collaborate with project managers and estimators to review project plans, specifications, and other bid documents.

Utilize estimating software to develop comprehensive bid packages.

Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitive and complete pricing.

Maintain updated knowledge of market conditions, pricing trends, and construction techniques relevant to structural steel.

Requirements :

Proven experience in structural steel estimating — this is a must.

Strong understanding of Preconstruction, Bid-Level Proposals, and Change Order processes.

Demonstrated speed and accuracy in producing take-offs and proposals.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications.

Proficiency in estimating software (prior experience with our platform is not required — training will be provided).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
