Requirements : Experience

  • 1 year minimum
  • First-time travelers considered upon review
    • Certifications :
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • CRT or RRT

    • Skills Needed :

  • Vent management
  • CPAP / BiPAP
  • Nebs
  • A-line placement
  • Intubation & extubation
  • Vent weaning
  • ABGs
  • Equipment : AVEA vents, Servo-U vents, LPU 1200, parapack vents (MRI), Hamilton vents (transport)
  • Charting : EPIC
  • Med management : Pyxis

    • Patient Mix & Ratios :

  • Mostly adults & geriatrics
  • Some pediatrics in ED
  • Ratio : 1 : 1

    • Schedule & Logistics :

  • Weekend Rotation : Every other
  • Holiday : As assigned
  • Float : To all hospital units
  • No blocked scheduling
  • Orientation : 1 shift to learn flow
  • Time Off : Up to 7 days (default)
  • On-call : Varies
  • Fatigue Policy : Max 60 hrs / week or no more than five 12s in a row
