Lead AI Engineer, Agentic Solutions Acceleration

The Role : Architecting, Guiding, and Scaling Enterprise AI Agents

The Lead AI Engineer will be the principal technical authority for the design, development, and deployment of the core AI Agent systems within the Solutions Team. You will be responsible for defining the reference architecture for all agentic solutions, mentoring senior engineers, and ensuring technical alignment with the Director's strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Leadership & Strategy (Primary Focus)

• Define Agent Reference Architecture : Establish the standardized, reusable, and secure reference architecture for building, testing, and deploying all AI Agents within the OutSystems solutions portfolio.
• Technology Vetting : Evaluate and select the core Generative AI models, orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel), and MLOps tools used by the team, balancing state-of-the-art capabilities with enterprise reliability.
• Design Reviews : Lead architectural and code reviews for all agent components, ensuring scalability, security (especially around data leakage and access control), and compliance with Responsible AI principles.
