The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving end-to-end business processes across the organization. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, leveraging systems such as ERP, PLM, B2B to streamline operations, enhance data flow, and drive performance improvements across departments.
Actively support other departments in resolving system and process issues, applying a hands-on, problem-solving approach and delivering training as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for optimization, particularly within Order-to-Cash , ERP , PLM , and B2B workflows.
- Take a hands-on role in system configuration, data setup, testing, and troubleshooting to resolve operational pain points and optimize system performance.
- Work closely with other departments to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and conduct user training to prevent recurrence.
- Manage end-to-end project execution - from planning and requirement validation to testing, deployment, and post-launch support - ensuring timelines and goals are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Finance, IT) to design and implement effective, system-driven business solutions.
- Resolve Customer Service, Sales, Finance helpdesk Tickets
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet defined business requirements including user training
- Identify manual processes that can be automated or improved through ERP and system capabilities.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency across business operations.
- Stay current with ERP advancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative process and system improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
Education : Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience :Minimum 5+ years of experience with ERP systems (Blue Cherry ERP preferred).
Minimum 10 years of industry experience in apparel, consumer goods, or manufacturing environments.Proven experience with ERP, WMS, and EDI systems integration and business process optimization.Technical Skills :Strong working knowledge of ERP , SQL , and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and business process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart).Core Skills & Competencies
