Overview

As a Solid Waste Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., (CEC), you will be involved in :

The design, analyses, permitting and preparation of drawings and technical specifications and construction period services for solid waste management facilities, including coal combustion residual (CCR) facilities, and industrial facilities;

• General civil / environmental engineering duties;
• Design of all aspects of landfills :
• Double composite liner systems;
• Leachate conveyance and storage facilities;
• Stormwater conveyance and storage facilities;
• Landfill gas collection / treatment systems;
• On-site roadways, and ancillary buildings and structures;
• Develop permit application documents, contract drawings, specifications and estimates for landfills, transfer stations, landfill gas to energy facilities, and recycling facilities;
• Preparation of engineering design reports, feasibility studies, and solid waste management plans;
• Review of projects for compliance with plans / specifications;
• Strong client and project management skills :
• Good communication, leadership, planning and mentoring skills required;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
