Welcome to your new journey as a Production Engineering Specialist! Your objective? Act as the essential link between Engineering and Operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the heartbeat of our production line remains strong by tackling challenges and implementing elegant solutions to keep operations seamless.

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES

  • Engage continuously between the realms of Engineering and Operations.
  • Proactively support operations with your technical prowess and comprehensive data analysis.
  • Spearhead equipment design, installation & foster better layouts for enhanced processes.
  • Master CAD, especially AutoCAD, to create and refine technical drawings and schematics.
  • Champion interpretation of blueprints for immaculate production setups.
  • Join forces with cross-disciplinary teams to uplift manufacturing techniques.
  • Swiftly troubleshoot mechanical and electrical production hurdles.
  • Orchestrate machine setup, ensuring seamless production runs.
  • Implement GD&T principles to uplift product quality and standards.
  • Pioneer PLC troubleshooting to avert issues and enhance efficiency.
  • Dive into PPAP processes to cultivate new methodologies.
  • Influence new product designs with your expertise and ingenious suggestions.
  • Optimize production by analyzing material costs and procedures.
  • Document diligently to communicate procedures clearly and effectively.
  • Spot training necessities and liaise with relevant management.
  • Actively contribute to perpetual improvements in manufacturing processes and performance.
  • Be ever-ready to take on any additional responsibilities as directed.
  • Embrace and exercise LEAP / 5S, adhering strictly to HSE guidelines.

TECHNOLOGY & SOFTWARE EXPERTISE

  • Navigate with expertise through Plant ERP systems (Plex experience advantageous).
  • Excel in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Command AutoCAD designs in both 2D and 3D formats.
  • Use Minitab for statistical analysis and quality improvement.
  • COMPETENCY & SKILL SET

    Your talents include a solid grip on CNC machining, cold heading, and blueprint fluency, underscoring your CAD proficiency. A deep mechanical and electrical engineering acumen alongside ISO / IATF experience is desired.

    COMMUNICATION STRENGTHS

    Efficiently deciphering and presenting technical documents is pivotal. Regular interaction with clients, regulatory agencies, and the broader business community is part of your remit.

    NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or comparable experience with a notable history of 2-5 years in CNC machining / cold heading, or 8+ years sans formal degree.
  • Capable in CNC settings and programming with an emphasis on quality instruments.
  • Familiarity with business functions such as quoting, client relations, and planning.
  • Negotiation finesse, analytical acumen, superior organizational skills, and interpersonal dexterity.
  • Highly proficient with PCs using Windows operating systems.
