Work closely with the UX lead to execute the product vision, being involved in every step of the end‑to‑end product design process.
Understand the underlying needs and motivations of our clients to ensure we achieve business goals and provide value.
Craft intuitive and elegant experiences that empower our clients to make confident financial decisions.
Collaborate with our research team to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, making value‑driven design decisions that translate into clear, simple UIs.
Create and present a variety of design deliverables (sketches, wireframes, user flows, prototypes) to engender confidence in your solutions with the team and the broader organization.
Form holistic solutions that integrate seamlessly into our wealth‑management product ecosystem.
Design and deliver responsive / adaptive solutions optimized for web and mobile interfaces, partnering with engineers to translate designs into successful products.
Work closely with the larger Wealth Management UX team to share best practices, align on patterns, and promote a design‑centric culture.
Advocate for all user abilities by thoroughly testing deliverables to meet WCAG / ADA compliance.
Relevant Experience And Mindset
You have an outstanding portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and user needs.
You’ve spent 2‑5 years as a UX designer and were a key contributor to the success of products that have launched.
You have a bachelor’s degree in design or a related field (master’s a plus).
You have excellent skills in Figma.
You have experience designing intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and drive customer engagement.
You can leverage research, wireframes, and prototypes to validate and enhance your design concepts, achieving the best possible solutions for users.
You thrive in a collaborative, explorative environment and value diversity, brainstorming, and feedback within a large organization.
You practice active listening and contribute in group situations, such as brainstorming, audits, critiques, and whiteboard sessions.
You get excited by complex projects with high levels of ambiguity and remain resilient in the face of obstacles.

Expected base pay for the role is $58,000 to $115,000 per year at hire. Salary is determined individually and may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short‑ and long‑term incentives, and various Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
