Position Overview :
We seek a dedicated On-Site Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic E-Therapy team. The ideal candidate will provide critical occupational therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools, assisting them in achieving their developmental and educational goals.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.Develop personalized treatment plans and goals collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.Implement evidence-based interventions to cater to students' unique needs and facilitate skill enhancement.Track and document students' progress towards established goals, making adjustments to intervention plans as necessary.Provide consultation to teachers and school staff on strategies to support students’ classroom participation and success.Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students' academic and functional requirements.Engage in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to educational plan development.Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, progress updates, and other essential documentation.Qualifications
Qualifications :
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related discipline.Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.Experience in providing occupational therapy services in educational or pediatric environments.Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in pediatric occupational therapy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.Aptitude for problem-solving with keen attention to detail.Preferred knowledge of sensory integration therapy and other therapeutic modalities.Benefits :

Physical Requirements (Working in a School Setting) :
Employees in this role will regularly stand, walk, and move within various areas of the school. Effective communication with students, staff, and parents is essential.
