Overview of the HR Generalist role :

The HR Generalist will be a key contributor to daily HR operations, helping to maintain a compliant and supportive work environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, confident in working with union-related matters, and comfortable handling sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities :

• Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, updates, and terminations
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and internal policies, managing accurate HR documentation
• Support union-related processes, including interpreting agreements and coordinating union wages and dues with payroll
• Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and union matters
• Assist with HR reporting, offboarding procedures, and administrative tasks as needed
