Position Overview : Houseperson

As a Houseperson at The Ozarker Lodge you play a key supporting role in our housekeeping and guest experience teams. You help ensure public areas guest room hallways and back-of-house spaces are clean well-stocked and ready for our guests and staff. Youre an extra set of handsand eyesfor our room attendants helping keep operations flowing smoothly and guests feeling taken care of. Youll also assist with special requests food & beverage service during our fire pit experiences and occasional setting up for group stays or events.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of guest corridors stairwells lobby restrooms and other public areas throughout the day
• Collect used linens trash and recycling from housekeeping closets and guest areas and deliver to proper facilities
• Restock housekeeping closets and carts with linens amenities and supplies
• Respond to guest and team member requests promptly and in a friendly courteous manner
• Deliver items to guest rooms as requested (e.g. rollaway beds extra towels cribs etc.)
• Assist room attendants as needed especially during high occupancy days
• Report maintenance issues safety concerns or guest complaints to the Housekeeping Manager
• Support delivery and service of food and beverage items during special experiences like our evening fire pit packages
• Complete Missouri SMART alcohol training and obtain a Missouri food handler permit (The Ozarker Lodge will provide assistance in obtaining these certifications)
• Occasionally help with setups for group bookings events or seasonal lodge experiences (like firepit prep or smores kits)
