Job Description

oPatient Assessment : Conducts thorough evaluations to determine the patient's needs and goals.

oTreatment Plan Development : Creates individualized therapy plans, often in consultation with physicians.

oTreatment Implementation : Provides hands-on therapy, exercises, and education to patients.

oDocumentation : Maintains accurate records of patient progress and interventions.

oCommunication : Communicates with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.

oPatient and Caregiver Education : Provides education and counseling to patients and their families about their condition and treatment.

oSupervision : May supervise physical therapist assistants, in accordance with applicable regulations, according to Indeed.

oProgress Monitoring : Regularly evaluates patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed
