Summary / Objective

Oversee the mortgage growth, management, workflow and promotion of first and second mortgages for sale to secondary markets and for the Credit Union loan portfolio. Responsible for the overall management of the quality and quantity of mortgage loan production and servicing; the training and supervision of employees; delegation of work and special projects; and personnel administration. Work closely with the Executive Team to develop a strategic plan for mortgage lending.

• Employee supervision regarding delegation, training, enforcement of policy and procedures, and quality control
• Personnel administration
• Underwriting mortgage loans for exception approval
• Coordination of Supervisory and Marketing efforts
• Development and coordination of new policy, loan programs and procedural changes
• Maintain proficient knowledge of Regulatory, Agency, and Investor compliance and guidelines
• Main contact for vendors and investors
• Compile and prepare reports
• Research and problem solving

Travel required

Will periodically be required to travel to other Credit Union locations and branches, as well as agreed upon conferences and training.

Periodically required to work outside of normal business hours.
