Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Manage and oversee all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, pretrial, trial, settlement, and appeal.

2. Evaluate and provide detailed responses to pleadings and motions.

3. Attend and represent clients at depositions, mediations, and court appearances.

4. Develop and implement litigation strategy for defense of lawsuits.

5. Coordinate and direct investigations conducted by paralegals and investigators.

6. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, reports, etc.

Qualifications :

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

2. Admitted to practice in the state and in good standing.

3. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on insurance defense.

4. Proven experience in trial proceedings.

5. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

6. Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically.

7. Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure.

8. Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills.
