SHIFTS : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM or 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM (Rotating shifts due to job share)
POSITION OVERVIEW :
Join the University of Michigan Health System as a Front Office Customer Service Representative. This vital role creates a positive first impression for visitors and patients. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, professionalism, and a proactive attitude.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Greet and assist visitors and patients upon arrival.
- Facilitate patient check-ins and prepare rooms for visits.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of rooms post-departure.
- Provide administrative support and perform accurate data entry tasks.
- Monitor patient queues in Mi-Chart scheduling system.
- Provide potential assistance with call center calls as required.
REQUIREMENTS :
Exceptional communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Mi-Chart scheduling system is a plus.Previous experience in a call center is advantageous.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Immunization documentation required (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, TB).IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS :
