Estimator - Manufacturing
Primary Accountability : As an Estimator at Ultimate LLC, you will lead the development and delivery of precise, high-quality estimates based on preliminary and final evaluations, ensuring exceptional solutions for our clients. You will drive the estimating process by defining project scopes, fostering strong vendor and customer relationships, and serving as a trusted partner who brings projects to life. In this role, you will :
Master Ultimate LLC’s estimating policies, procedures, and industry standards to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs.
Analyze project scopes, perform quantity take-offs, and prepare detailed cost estimates.
Cultivate and strengthen vendor relationships to support effective sourcing strategies.
Solicit and evaluate quotations from material vendors and subcontractors, providing informed recommendations.
Develop clear, professional written proposals and presentations that align with customer needs and expectations.
Handle costing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders with accuracy and timeliness.
Create project schedules that reflect the scope of work, align with priorities, and define critical paths.
Collaborate with the supply chain to secure up-to-date and accurate pricing information.
Partner with operations management to incorporate current labor rates into estimates.
Assist in refining project scopes to ensure clarity and feasibility.
Maintain and analyze historical cost data to inform estimates for current and future projects.
Provide estimates to support management in planning, organizing, and scheduling work.

You bring a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (Construction or Material Handling preferred) and a Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, or Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
You have or are interested in pursuing a PCEA certification or similar credential.
Physical Requirements :
Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
Ability to sit for extended periods and read computer screens, emails, and talk on the phone.
Capable of bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and gripping items while working at a desk.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Work Environment :
Professional, deadline-driven office setting with periodic on-site and remote client interactions.
Collaboration with team members in both office and field environments.
Occasional weekend or evening work may be required based on project demands.
Work Schedule :
This is an exempt role, but punctuality is critical to success.
Expected to be fully prepared for daily responsibilities by 8 : 00 a.m.
Overtime or weekend work may be required based on project deadlines.
Flexible schedules or remote work may be permitted by the supervisor, provided it supports company goals.
