Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field with four (4) years of related programming experience or

Associates degree in related field with six (6) years of related programming experience or eight (8) years of related programming experience

Experience / Knowledge / Skills :

Demonstrated lead experience / knowledge in Sourcesafe, TFS, TSQL, PLSql, Sql 2005, SSIS, sql stored procedures, database triggers, DTS, ODBC and other database technologies were applicable. ASP, HTML, DHTML, Ajax, JavaScript, VBScript, C#, ASP.NET, WinForms, Visual Studio, COM, cross-platform and cross-browser capabilities

Expertise in Windows NT, SQL Server, IIS and security

Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills to work successfully in a team environment

Ability to work independently with measurable drive for results

Good oral communication and presentation skills

Demonstrated planning and organizational skills

Principal Accountabilities

Responsible for the software design, development and implementation of web-based applications, including research and analysis, planning logic and system flow, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, user acceptance testing, and implementation.

Collaborates with designers and team members and encourages open communication.

Conceptualizes and defines system flow for custom interfaces in web applications.

Utilizes web automation tools to streamline functionality.

Provides support to Web Developers, Sr Web developers and other Leads, project leader, and project consultants.

Leads discussions with one or more end users.

Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the integration of new products per client requirements.

Ability to integrate new technologies.

Monitors software development to ensure quality control.

Coordinates task assignments.

Accountable for meeting project timelines.

Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.

Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory / continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
