Job Description :

  • The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be performing therapies, recording the notes of each visit, and following up with their patients;
  • The SLP will be empowered to build their schedule and maintain it;
  • The SLP will be given the tools (software / program, i.e., ClinicSource) to facilitate the secretarial needs of their schedules (i.e., confirming appointments), and will be expected to have computer and smartphone literacy for this reason;
  • Traveling will be expected, as we also offer services not only at our offices but at the daycare centers and schools in the surrounding areas;
  • The SLP may supervise an SLPA, which will require to meet at least once a month and work on therapy strategies.

Education / Certificates :

  • M.S. or M.A. in Communications Disorders , or a similar degree;
  • SLP License from the State of Florida.
  • ASHA CCC is encouraged but not required.

    • Skills :

  • English speaking;
  • Bilingual ( Spanish );
  • Computer literacy;
  • Smartphone literacy.

    • Required Work Experience :

  • At least 1 year working with children.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Employ therapy proficiently;
  • Maintain a consistent roster of patients;
  • Organize your schedule;
  • Use the software and programs provided;
  • Work with the patient's parents / guardians.
