Job Description :
- The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be performing therapies, recording the notes of each visit, and following up with their patients;
- The SLP will be empowered to build their schedule and maintain it;
- The SLP will be given the tools (software / program, i.e., ClinicSource) to facilitate the secretarial needs of their schedules (i.e., confirming appointments), and will be expected to have computer and smartphone literacy for this reason;
- Traveling will be expected, as we also offer services not only at our offices but at the daycare centers and schools in the surrounding areas;
- The SLP may supervise an SLPA, which will require to meet at least once a month and work on therapy strategies.
Education / Certificates :
M.S. or M.A. in Communications Disorders , or a similar degree;SLP License from the State of Florida.ASHA CCC is encouraged but not required.Skills :
English speaking;Bilingual ( Spanish );Computer literacy;Smartphone literacy.Required Work Experience :
At least 1 year working with children.Responsibilities :
Employ therapy proficiently;Maintain a consistent roster of patients;Organize your schedule;Use the software and programs provided;Work with the patient's parents / guardians.
