Field Interviewer – Part-Time, Temporary (April–September 2025)
Location : Minnesota (Various Facilities)
Pay : $23.50 / hour + mileage & drive-time reimbursement
Are you looking for a meaningful opportunity to make an impact? Headway Workforce Solutions is hiring Field Interviewers on behalf of our client to conduct face-to-face interviews with residents in assisted living facilities across Minnesota. As a Field Interviewer, you will use a tablet device to conduct 15–20-minute structured interviews with residents who have varying health conditions and cognitive abilities. Your work will help evaluate quality of life for people with disabilities who receive state services. Key Details
- Project Duration : April – September 2025 (Some may finish earlier based on location and availability)
- Paid Training : Combination of virtual and in-person field training
- Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM (varies based on location and facility needs). Hours include time at facilities, drive time, paid breaks every 4 hours, and a 30-minute paid lunch for team check-ins and planning. Please note that drive time can be outside the hours of 8 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM.
- Travel : Up to 75 miles one-way daily, with potential for longer distances if needed
Responsibilities
Conduct structured interviews with facility residents using a tabletBe punctual, travel to assigned facilities and work independently while maintaining a professional, neutral approachKeep organized records of completed interviews and resident participation (e.g., completed interviews, refusals, etc.)Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulationsParticipate in regular quality assurance observations and pass observation interviews, as evaluated by Quality Assurance MentorsRequirements
Comfortable interacting with older adults and individuals with disabilitiesDemonstrate concern and sensitivity to issues of disability, illness, and communication challenges.Strong organization, time management, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and follow structured interview protocolsTech-savvy – comfortable with email, file uploads, and troubleshooting tabletsReliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license and insurancePreferred Qualifications
Experience in research, interviewing, or fieldwork is a plusFamiliarity with nursing homes, assisted living, or adult care settings preferredPerks & Compensation
Hourly Pay : $23.50 per hour for work time (e.g., conducting interviews, etc.)Mileage Reimbursement is reimbursed at $0.45 per mileDrive Time Pay : $15.97 per hourPrint Stipend : $3 per weekOther reimbursements may applyWork Environment & Physical Demands
