Engineering Analyst

This position is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and supporting the development of cost reduction and optimization actions for current model vehicles. The role involves co-leading the identification and prioritization of actions along with Marketing and Design teams. Responsibilities span all systems with the potential to grow into future model vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and support cost reduction and optimization actions for Lincoln vehicles.
  • Co-lead identification and prioritization of actions with Marketing and Design teams.
  • Develop a list of actions to achieve vehicle-level tasks.
  • Gain cross-functional agreement to proceed with actions.
  • Lead and manage special product development projects as they arise.

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of automotive development processes.
  • Ability to review data and draw conclusions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of timing plans and basic business cases.
  • General knowledge of product management and deliverables timing.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, including PowerPoint presentations, meeting agendas, and minutes.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Passion for optimization, problem-solving, and strategy development.
  • Cross-functional knowledge of a vehicle including systems and subsystems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for clear and concise communication.
  • Experience in project coordination, sourcing, and cost analysis.

    • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00 / hr.
