Engineering Analyst
This position is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and supporting the development of cost reduction and optimization actions for current model vehicles. The role involves co-leading the identification and prioritization of actions along with Marketing and Design teams. Responsibilities span all systems with the potential to grow into future model vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and support cost reduction and optimization actions for Lincoln vehicles.
- Co-lead identification and prioritization of actions with Marketing and Design teams.
- Develop a list of actions to achieve vehicle-level tasks.
- Gain cross-functional agreement to proceed with actions.
- Lead and manage special product development projects as they arise.
Essential Skills
Knowledge of automotive development processes.Ability to review data and draw conclusions.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Understanding of timing plans and basic business cases.General knowledge of product management and deliverables timing.Clear and effective communication skills, including PowerPoint presentations, meeting agendas, and minutes.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Passion for optimization, problem-solving, and strategy development.Cross-functional knowledge of a vehicle including systems and subsystems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills for clear and concise communication.Experience in project coordination, sourcing, and cost analysis.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00 / hr.
