Your day to day : Managing and coaching your team to ensure the right person is always on the right task. Setting exceptional accounting practice standards and ensuring financial control procedures remain ethical and legal. Maximizing financial returns through financial analysis, data trends and market information while budgeting accordingly. Enhancing the guest experience through improved payment options, inventory controls and financial dispute resolutions. Supervising a number of clerical accounting employees across a range of functions from Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Payroll. Being a part of the onboarding process for new Directors of Finance.

What we need from you : 5 years experience in a Director of Finance or similar role. Experience in hotel accounting or auditing with at least 1 year of Assistant Controller or similar supervisory role. Knowledge of accounting management duties; negotiating hotel space and tenant leases, processing payroll, performing asset management duties, providing business projections, displacement analysis, preparing government reports, filing tax returns, etc. Professional finance designation or certification preferred.

Travel - 100% required Location - this role can be based in any metropolitan US city The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $155,000. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
