• Location : Portland, OR
• Duration : ASAP Ongoing
• Schedule : 1 to 3 weeks per month, Monday-Sunday
• Call : Inpatient call, weeknights and weekend only
• Scope : Pediatric Otolaryngology onsite ED coverage, inpatient consults, and trauma call
• Common diagnosis / procedures : Ped ENT complications requiring drainage : Peritonsillar abscess, neck abscess, retropharyngeal abscess, mastoiditis, complicated sinus infections, Foreign body removal : esophageal and airway foreign bodies, nasal / ear foreign bodies, Airway consults : stridor in newborns, Bleeding : Post tonsillectomy bleeding, nose bleeds, Trauma : nasal fractures, penetrating oral trauma
• EMR : Epic
• Hospital : Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center
• Required : Board Certified, DEA, PALS, Prefer fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngologists and Oregon license, but NOT required. Open to candidates who can obtain a Oregon license and support for long term coverage and are comfortable treating pediatrics. Preference Oregon license but no required.
• Credentialing : 90-120 Days
