Computer Vision Engineer
Our client is searching for a Video Analytics Engineer to work on a project that will help improve urban living. Responsibilities include detecting complex events from video streams, designing fully alerts, and developing automated workflows.
Responsibilities
Assist with video camera initial set up, configuration, management, instrumentation, monitoring, and security configurations.
Evaluate third-party computer vision tools and libraries to drive innovation and automation.
Implement algorithms for object tracking, unusual pattern recognition and scene detection.
Optimize algorithms performance and solution reliability in real-time video workflows.
Integrate machine learning models from different vendors with Enterprise Video Management Systems and workflow engines.
Design, develop, and deploy scalable comprehensive computer vision solutions to enable Smart City use cases.
Qualifications
Good understanding of computer vision principles as used in video analysis.
Familiarity with algorithms for object / people detection, image and video segmentation, background subtraction.
Background in data analytics and data science.
Experience with Python development.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Self-starter with a passion for innovative technology.
Commitment to learning with ability to self-study and obtain required technical certifications.
Experience with and certification from Bosch, Hanwha, Genetec, Samsara, and competing technology providers will be very helpful.
