Managerial & Professional

Assist in the administration of various tests. Essential functions include assisting with department processes such as registration, data entry, ensuring completeness of testing applications, test scheduling, and testing room seating arrangements. Maintain visual supervision of the candidates; observe candidates carefully to ensure that they are working in the right section of the test booklet or answer sheet, for collusions, cheating, and other improprieties or irregularities. Score test if required by Supervisor. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures in cooperation with the Systems office. May work off-hours, including evenings and weekends. Perform other duties, tasks, and assignments as required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, testing experience preferred. A valid Texas driver license is required. Proficiency in MS Office programs is also necessary. Competencies include delivering high quality work, accepting responsibility, serving customers, supporting organizational goals, driving continuous improvement, acting with integrity, thinking critically, managing change, and communicating effectively.

Working conditions include general office settings. Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations; remain in a stationary position during shift; move items weighing up to 25 pounds; position self to operate job equipment; apply established protocols in a timely manner. Must access, input, and retrieve information from technology devices; communicate with others to accomplish job requirements. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays. Security sensitive : This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code 51.215.
