Tank Cleaning Technician

Job Description

The Tank Cleaning Technician performs physical labor tasks at tank farms, terminals, power plants, refineries, etc.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Proper completion of all cleaning orders as well as personal compliance with all company policies
• Responsible for removal of tank pumps, fill valves, and other accessories to gain access to the tank
• Responsible for ensuring that all tanks and peripheral equipment are cleaned to meet proper company standards for quality control Loads hoses, chemicals, and other equipment required for an assigned job onto a truck
• Responsible for ensuring that all tanks and peripheral equipment are cleaned to meet proper company standards for quality control
• Hooks up and breaks down tank accessories using proper tools, gaskets, and Teflon tape, as directed by the supervisor
• Responsible for the proper servicing of all external valves, pumps, fittings, hose connections, and hose tubes on the trailer / container

Requirements :

Career Level : Entry level

Experience Required : Prefer 1+ years (not mandatory)

Hours / Shift : 40-60 hours weekly
