Inside Sales Representative
SATO America is seeking a motivated and customer focused Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing inbound inquiries, and supporting the field sales team through proactive customer engagement. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering value-driven solutions to our clients.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead Generation & Qualification : Identify, qualify, and nurture prospective clients through outbound calling, email campaigns, and CRM activity.
- Customer Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to understand needs and present appropriate SATO solutions.
- Sales Pipeline Management : Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in Salesforce or similar CRM system.
- Collaboration : Partner closely with field sales, marketing, customer service, and technical teams to ensure seamless customer experience and alignment on sales strategies.
- Product Knowledge : Develop in-depth understanding of SATO's products, services, and competitive differentiators to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Performance Metrics : Achieve or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) including call volume, revenue targets, and lead conversion rates.
- Quoting & Order Support : Prepare customer quotes and assist with order processing, ensuring timely follow-up and accuracy.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an inside sales or customer-facing role, preferably in manufacturing, industrial sectors, or technology. Experience in B2B technical sales.Knowledge of barcode / RFID printing, labeling technologies and familiarity with SATO's product offerings and vertical markets (e.g., healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, retail) a plus.Customer-focused mindset with a consultative sales approach.Proven and sustained track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus).Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a collaborative mindset; Bilingual speaker (Spanish) a strong plus.Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational abilities.PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
