Shift : 08 : 00 AM 04 : 30 PM (5x8-hour shifts; Mon Fri)
Pay Rate : $30 / hr (W2) $33 / hr (1099)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support outpatient infusion services. The Medical Assistant will perform both clinical and administrative duties including patient scheduling insurance verification and front office operations. This is a day shift contract role with no weekends holidays or on-call requirements.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in an adult outpatient clinic setting.
Perform insurance verification and schedule patient appointments.
Support front office operations including documentation record-keeping and clerical duties.
Assist providers and nursing staff with patient flow to ensure efficiency of care.
Accurately document patient encounters within the Epic EHR system (preferred).
Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Follow infection control safety and organizational policies at all times.
Qualifications
Required :
1 year of experience as a Front Office Medical Assistant or in patient scheduling .
Preferred :
Experience with Epic EHR system .
Background in adult or geriatric outpatient care settings.
No phlebotomy experience required .
