Job Summary

Massage Therapists will provide therapeutic massages tailored to the patient's needs to help them to create new, healthier muscle holding patterns and to complement their chiropractic adjustments. Massage Therapists are part of the team helping the patient work towards achieving their health goals established in the office.

Job Description

We're looking for an expert Massage Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. We're a growing clinic with a demand for massage therapy outpacing what we can currently provide. Massage therapy and soft tissue work is a key component of our corrective care model. You will be a valued member of an integrated chiropractic team that consistently delivers five-star experiences. Your role will be assisting the Chiropractor and other team members in the care of the patient, primarily via massage. Personal growth opportunities in stretch therapy, laser therapy, x-ray and administrative duties will be immediately available as well. We are looking for a true team player and who embraces our vision and will help guide our practice toward community impact and continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform massage therapy for up to 90 minutes, typical appointments are 30 or 60 minutes.
• Engage in customer service activities and maintain a positive attitude at all times with patients.
• Provide 5-10 minute chair massage and represent clinic at offsite wellness events
• Arrive well before appointments in order to prepare for massage therapy sessions
• Schedule patients for massage therapy sessions
• Call patients to follow-up on missed massage therapy sessions
• Full adherence to hand washing and personal hygiene requirements
• Consistent maintenance and cleaning of equipment / massage rooms
• Assist in other duties within the clinic as needed.

Requirements

Compensation : $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
