Woody Buick GMC is seeking Apprentice and Skilled Technicians. We are seeking for individuals eager to begin a career as an automotive technician for full and part time in a Local 701 Union Shop. Join a growing team in a high traffic shop. Extensive training is available to those who are career focused in addition to Healthcare, Pension and 401k.
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform thorough multipoint inspections
- Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency in accordance with dealership and / or General Motors standards
- Preform lube, oil and filter changes, tire rotations and fluid top-off
- Tire rotations as well as repairing, mounting and balancing
- Explain recommendations in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions in order to advance career and stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
- Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
