HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry in Grandview, MO!

Salary : $28 - $36 per hour

Shift : 8a-4p M-F

Location : Grandview, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems , including high-voltage applications.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, operations manuals, and technical specifications .
  • Install, modify, and maintain machinery and related auxiliary equipment .
  • Analyze and troubleshoot machine performance issues with production staff.
  • Conduct performance testing on equipment as needed.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated in accordance with safety protocols and company policies .
  • Complete work orders, maintain maintenance logs, and assist with general housekeeping duties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience repairing injection molding machines.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems , including high-voltage applications .
  • Proficiency in welding techniques, particularly stick welding .
  • Ability to analyze problems effectively and implement prompt solutions .
  • Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation for troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship .
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
  • Mechanical knowledge (3+ years preferred).
