Summary
The Senior Analyst - Global Air Logistics position is responsible for all duties related to inbound and outbound Air Freight Forwarding operations for all West Coast SCM. This position is mainly responsible for customer service and monitoring inbound / outbound shipment of transportation. This role's duties will all be related to inbound and outbound freight forwarding operations.
Responsibilities
- General 3PL operations (Inbound, Outbound, In-land and Warehouse / Distribution)
Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
Provide in / outbound operation servicesCoordinate urgent cargo deliveries to ensure production lines of the customersMonitor air import, export schedules, services, and update vendors of any documentation issuesManage / control with operations, customers, and truckers to minimize unnecessary costsPrepare all necessary shipping documentation related to international bookings and process all import / export documentation to clearing agents to include : (HAWB's, MAWB's, AES's, Manifest, Shipping Instructions, Haz Cargo Decl., Bill of Ladings, and Certificate of Origin,etc.)Liaise with customers, suppliers, air carriers, and inland transportation carriers to ensure that a premium level of customer service is always presentLabel the airline's required stickers and documents on outside of cargoSupport insurance claims for cargo damage / accident / customer claims in related partiesUpdate Genisys and all related systems air shipments historyProvide status updates for customers daily & weekly basisEnsure all charges are billed correctlyDaily monitoring of urgent shipment movesMonitor inbound shipments for timely release and provide status updates
Outbound logistics team and customers for completion of urgent delivery orders in a timely mannerManage in / outbound shipments from cargo pick up to delivery in US / OverseaCoordinate to check the actual cargo quantity, damages, cargo accuracy, and the banding or wrapping of cargo when requiredOther duties as assignedCompensation Range
