Senior Analyst, Data Quality
As Senior Analyst, Data Quality, you will join our Commercial Data Management team and become a key contributor in building scalable quality control processes and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data is trusted, accurate, and business-ready. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, analytical thinker who enjoys tackling complex data challenges, working collaboratively across teams, and utilizing cloud data technologies to make a significant impact in a pivotal position. Your responsibilities will include the following activities :
Execute recurring quality control checks on commercial datasets including sources such as specialty pharmacies and other pharmacy data sources, IQVIA, Veeva CRM, and targeting lists
Perform root cause analysis for data anomalies and recommend corrective actions
Support data ingestion, transformation, and integration validation in our Databricks environment
Maintain our commercial data dictionary, quality control rule library, and data lineage documentation
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure quality control processes align with business needs
Collaborate with vendors to validate incoming data feeds and resolve quality issues
Monitor compliance with established data governance models and quality standards
Document quality control processes and create training materials for cross-functional adoption
Leverage Databricks, SQL, and automation to improve quality control efficiency and scalability
Research and test emerging data quality tools and observability platforms, such as Monte Carlo
Contribute to evolving Neurocrine's commercial data quality strategy and roadmap
Run quality checks on daily basis and notify stakeholders of data quality status and impact
Lead or partner on data investigations and small to medium-sized ad hoc analyses
Track and resolve field requests, questions, and issues in collaboration with vendors and other stakeholders
Analyze issues and make decisions within defined parameters, escalating when necessary
Ensure the success of data quality initiatives by proactively identifying and reporting any data gaps
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
4+ years of experience in data analysis, quality control, or commercial operations in the life sciences or healthcare industry
Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms
High degree of comfort working with data in a variety of tools like Excel and BI platforms like Power BI or Tableau
Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills with high attention to detail
Experience running structured and ad-hoc analysis and reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Familiarity with a variety of sources to support commercial life sciences like IQVIA, Symphony, Veeva Compass and CRM, specialty pharma and specialty distributor (852 / 867)
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data observability platforms (Monte Carlo, Collibra)
Experience with other programmatic approaches to data management (for example, Python)

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $101,200.00-$146,550.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties / requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
